Fabulous new bed and breakfast up for award
We have just discovered that our new extension for the B & B is being nominated for the prestigious LABC (Local Authority Building Control) Awards! Local building control officers are impressed with the spacious and interesting design of large rooms with vaulted but visually unsupported ceilings. It also helps that the quality of the build is of the highest standards and that it complements the existing surroundings.
It makes it even more pleasing that our build is also very much a local project: architect David Hobbs and builders Steve and John Cummings are all Milton Keynes people and very well known in the building community. We’ve worked with all of them on two previous projects and they’re just great people.
The LABC Regional Built in Quality Awards are dedicated to showcasing the best the construction industry has to offer in Central England. Regional finalists will be put forward for the National Awards. Extensive media coverage will showcase. The awards are open for anyone to enter. Closing date for the nominations is 28th March and winners will be announced on Friday 9th May at Jury’s Hotel, Milton Keynes.
