Opening day looms...
The end is in sight for the build process at South Lodge as the builders move out and the decorators and
landscapers move in. However the builders have just
moved into the old house where alterations will ensure
a great breakfast experience for our guests! The
tidying up process meant that good photos could be
taken for the LABC award submission, which went in
last week.
The good weather this week - did somebody say it's spring? - has really helped all the outside painting. The grass is likely to be slow though, we laid two areas to seed last weekend and then the wind got up...
Also moved in to Cross End are the gas people, laying new pipes to our neighbours further down the lane. As a result there are several big signs saying ROAD CLOSED for six weeks! Thankfully there's another one saying ACCESS ONLY.
And the sun's just come out - again!
