July 2010 - best month ever!
Last month proved to be the busiest since South Lodge opened in 2008 - with accommodation bookings up a massive 60% on 2009! In addition to the usual Silverstone full house, the small matter of The Prodigy enticing 65,000 folk to the Milton Keynes Bowl meant that all hotels and b&bs were bursting at the seams on 24th July. However, South Lodge proved to be popular in its own right. A local couple held a wedding celebration on one of the few remaining weekends, and no fewer than five couples chose us for their post-nuptial stay during the month. August is always quieter, but this one is already twice as popular as last year. It may not be long before we lose the capacity to grow!
