South Lodge: the other occupants

Julia and Colin, your South Lodge hosts, are known for not doing things on a small scale! As a result, if guests take a walk around the gardens they might just catch a glimpse of Gertie and Jake, two fawn Old English Mastiffs. Weighing in at 80 and 95 kilos respectively, visitors (dog-loving ones at any rate) are suitably impressed! Thankfully they are as friendly as they are big.

So it would seem unfair if they didn’t open their door to other dog lovers. Whilst the new extension remains pet free, a bedroom in the old house is currently being refurbished with direct access to the garden – watch this space for more details!
